Global Underscore New Orleans

iHello!

This is a rare, annual opportunity for dance improv lovers to feel sweaty, centered and rejuvenated through the practice of Underscore simultaneously with 70+ other locations all over the world.
The creator of Underscore, Nancy Stark Smith created these beautiful symbols called “glyphs” to provide generously useful lens for dance improvisation with ourselves and others.
Since we are connecting dots of those 70+ locations to wrap this planet throughout the practice, the starting times vary in each location. Ours is a bit early, from 9am.
It is VERY VERY IMPORTANT to start and end together.
Please come on time, or a bit early.

We will directly dive into the practice at 9am.
⚠️If you have practiced Underscore and/or have listened to a Talk-thru, please come at 9am.
⚠️If you haven’t, please come to PLANET M on June 16 at Jazz Museum or a potluck dinner on June 20. We will give you a Talk-thru. Receiving a Talk-thru to fully be prepared for Global Underscore is mandatory!
