Summer is heating up and our municipal election races are heating up even faster. Meanwhile, the dirty dogs of the GOP are still busy chewing up our rights and leaving a mess for the rest of us to clean up.
Though these are the dog days of summer, we’re also rolling out the welcome mat for our feline affiliates and teaming up for a joint meetup with @ClawsOutNOLA, the New Orleans chapter of Cat Ladies for America.
We can’t avoid the summer heat, but we can avoid the chill of political apathy with some frosty libations — and NO ICE🧊 👀!
So let’s cool down with good company, strong drinks, and insightful conversation as we strengthen our community and keep the flame of democracy burning — without getting heatstroke. 🥵
