Join us for auditions! You have two chances to come in for your audition. Please inform us of which date you plan to come in on the discussion section of this event. If you are unable to make either option, please message Thrive Theatrics STL to arrange submission of a video audition.
While this show closely mirrors Disney's The Little Mermaid, it is not the same. Our show leans more into the original Hans Christian Anderson story with different character names and a slightly altered story line. But in the end, it's the same story we all know and love!
This show is for children ages 8-15 and the investment is $180 per participant.
Rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4pm-6:30pm as a general rule, except for the week of the 4th of July.
Our show dates are
July 12 @ 2pm and 6pm
July 13th @ 4 pm
There will be a rehearsal calendar available at auditions for you to submit any conflicts. We cannot accommodate for conflicts during show week, so please plan to be available for all dress rehearsals and show times!
Script excerpts will be posted in this event to allow for some prep work. At auditions, please sign in and wait in the hallway of the sanctuary space. There will be script print outs and forms for you to fill out while you wait.
If you are interested in a tech or crew position (stage management, costumes, assistant directing, lighting, sound...) Please come in to auditions and fill out a form - we will bring you in for a 5 minute conversation to get to know you!
