Queer Readers June Meeting: Contemporary Australian Love

Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday 16th June 2025 at 6.30pm in the New Farm Library meeting room (adjacent to the library).
The theme for June is "Contemporary Australian Love" with each of the books containing queer characters, plot, or representation written by Australian Authors. The suggested books on the reading list are:
‘The In-Between’ by Christos Tsiolkas, 2023. 376pp.

‘A Language of Limbs’ by Dylin Hardcastle, 2024. 291pp. (Trigger warning for Gay bashing, death of a child)

‘I’m Not Really Here’ by Gary Lonesborough, 2024. 384pp.

The second half of the meeting if time permits is a general discussion about any other book recommendations, TV/ films/ streaming, or events of interest to the Queer community.
