Girish And The Chronicles (Originals & Covers)

Girish and the Chronicles, also known as GATC, is an Indian rock band from Gangtok, Sikkim, formed in 2009 by vocalist Girish Pradhan. The current lineup consists of Girish Pradhan on vocals, Yogesh Pradhan on bass, Suraz Sun on lead guitar, and Nagen Mongrati on drums. Since 2013, the band has been based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Over the years, GATC has opened for, supported, or shared the stage at festivals with notable international acts including Hoobastank (2013), Poets of the Fall (St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore, 2016), Destruction (Bangalore Open Air, 2014), and TesseracT (IISc Bangalore, 2019). In 2019, they also performed as the backing band for Chris Adler during the Chris Adler Experience tour in India.

More recently, GATC has shared the stage with legendary rock bands such as Nazareth (UrRock Fest, Sarnen, Switzerland, 2021), Skid Row and Kamelot (UrRock Festival, Switzerland, 2022), Bonfire, and Mike Tramp (Zurbarán Rock Burgos Fest, Spain, 2022 and 2023).

On 1st July 2023, the band supported Guns N` Roses at Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi, as special guests—an achievement that gained significant media attention in the Indian rock scene, with coverage from outlets like The Times of India and Rolling Stone India.

On June 24, 2023, GATC also performed at the Summerside Festival in Grenchen, Switzerland, opening for Bullet for My Valentine, Billy Talent, and Alter Bridge. The festival also featured renowned acts like Hollywood Vampires and Airbourne.
