Basic Hand Tools Workshop

Workshops are FREE! All Materials Included.

This workshop will cover everything from selecting a screwdriver and how to swing a hammer to using a circular saw.

"This will be too simplistic for the normal do-it-yourselfer but is geared for someone who really wants or needs to know the basics."

Partners for Preservation is a non-profit group whose focus is on helping homeowners maintain, restore, and save the historic homes in the area,” said Ed Petrus, board member. LCPP is in the process of restoring parts of its Library and Resource Center at 111 E Lincoln Avenue (across from the Scottish Rite Cathedral) where the workshop will be held. The LCPP library houses related reference materials which may be borrowed. The LCPP website is https://www.lcppreserve.org/ Participants should indicate their planned attendance through the website form so that adequate materials will be on hand.
This workshop is free, but donations will be accepted.
