Getting to Know Your Machine

Have a sewing machine, but not quite sure where to start? This class is perfect for beginners and returning sewists who want to build confidence behind the needle.


In this relaxed, hands-on class, you’ll learn:
—The basic parts of your machine.
—How to wind a bobbin and thread correctly
—Stitch settings, tension tricks, and troubleshooting tips.
—Straight-line practice on paper and scrap fabric


No projects, no pressure —just a fun and supportive environment to get to know your machine and make sewing less intimidating. Bring your machine (don’t forget the power cord and manual if you have it), and we’ll provide the practice materials and patient guidance. (A complete supplies list will be sent when you sign up.)
