About the event

Community Book Fair

On Saturday, August 16th, we are holding our second Community Book Fair!

How it Works: Bring a book you no longer read, and choose a new book from our community library to take home.

This idea was born when two crew members saw a man throwing used books in the dumpster after work. They quickly stopped him and collected the books he was discarding to donate.
They rescued over 300 books and learned that over 320 million books are sent to the landfill yearly (which equates to ~19 million trees).
We want to reduce that number, so instead of throwing away your old books bring them to our Community Book Fair and trade them in for some new reads!
