6th Annual Power Wheels Demolition Derby, Saturday, June 21st, 2025 at the corner of Main & Maria
Power Wheels Parade starts at 3 p.m.
Derby starts at 3:30 p.m.
The Preparation:
- Checklist for parents and prospective participants for the Annual Bay-Rama Power Wheels Demolition Derby
- File a paid $10 Entry (google form).
- File a fully executed Minor Release and Waiver of Liability form.
- Drop off the Power Wheels vehicle between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm on June 21st at the Derby Pit Gate (corner of Main and Maria). Note: there will be no pit access at this time.
- Listen for the Derby PA Announcer's call for parents and participants to report to the trackside.
- Enjoy participating in the Power Wheels Demolition Derby.
- Receive an award after the race on the track. Everyone will receive a participation award.
- Please take the Power Wheels vehicle from the site directly after the race ends.
Power Wheels Demolition Derby Rules:
- Any regular electric standard-size Power Wheels vehicle is allowed with the following restrictions: no "wedge" body styles, no ATV, quad, motorcycle, etc. type vehicles allowed; child's legs must be in a compartment; any vehicle deemed to be unsafe will not be allowed to compete; decisions of officials are final. No modifications unless expressly stated in these rules.
- Kids 3-10 years of age may participate. There are two age groups; 3-5 and 6-10.
- Helmets must be worn (bicycle helmet, etc.)
- The vehicle is allowed to have a Stock-style 6- or 12-volt battery, which cannot be mounted in the passenger seat, and the battery must be secured and sealed away from the child. The motor must remain a stock. Power Wheels vehicles may be weighed for compliance.
- All doors and tailgates must be strapped shut. No sharp edges (use zip ties or duct tape or other flexible products to make them stay shut.) Tires may be covered in duct tape to prevent them from breaking. Cosmetic changes are acceptable, however, no reinforcement will be allowed to the Power Wheels vehicle (body frame, etc., must remain original.)
- All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- All children will receive a participation prize
