Join us for an evening of dancing and fun!
USC promotes peer learning, where community members can help each other by sharing talents, experience and expertise. Community Dance Practices provide a venue for doing so. Our goal is to foster a more connected and vibrant swing community.
This is an opportunity to practice your moves and work with others on things you’ve learned! Take this opportunity to meet your fellow dancers and community members, see our studio space in the new New Westminster Secondary School, and get a feel for what USC is all about - building community!
In order to protect the beautiful wooden floor at the new dance studio, we ask everyone to wear clean, indoor shoes, or socks.
Pre-registration is NOT required.
Admission by donation ($10 suggested).
Pay in cash at the door or online:

Our goal is to help create a stronger and more inclusive swing dancing community. With that in mind, please review the brief code of conduct below:
Be patient and kind. This is a chance for dancers of all levels to work on progressing their skills.
Provide feedback/advice to others only if they have requested it, or you have confirmed that they are receptive to your feedback by first asking “Are you open to feedback/advice?”
If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend.
Please offer to wear a mask if your dance partner or the person you are working with is wearing one.
