Sara Fay Egan at the GDBS

Author and businesswoman Sara Fay Eagan will be at The Garden District Book Shop on April 28 to discuss her book The Through Line: Finding Happiness Through the Curveballs of Life, Family, and Business.

Sara Fay has never lived a “by-the-book” kind of life. From orchestrating high-profile events to grappling with her daughter’s life-threatening illness, she’s faced more twists and turns than most. In The Through Line, Sara Fay shares her deeply personal journey, blending raw emotion with the practical know-how she’s gained from years of balancing a successful career with family responsibilities. 

With wit and wisdom, she explores the true secrets to resilience: showing up authentically, leaning into meaningful connections, and finding joy even when life feels completely off-script. The event will begin at 6:00 PM. Sara Fay will sit down with Christina Dandar of The Potted Boxwood  to discuss her book with guests before opening the floor for a Q&A. Afterwards, she will be available to mingle with guests and personalize copies of her book. 

Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event but interested parties are encouraged to reserve their copy ahead of time on Eventbrite.
