Grouse Ridge Lookout is a retired forest service fire lookout station. The facility includes the fire lookout building and an iconic outhouse at the edge of the granite summit. This site provide incredible 360 degree views with vistas of 100+ miles in all directions.
We'll plan the trip to arrive before sunset so that we can scout the property, take pictures of the sunset and then capture images of the Milky Way and the buildings throughout the evening.
We will park 500 below the summit and hike with our gear, the last 1/4 mile of single track road up to the summit. Please pack accordingly.
