Come join the Ottawa FPV Riders for another fun filled Sunday Drone fun fly! We will be running 2025 Spring MultiGP Global Qualifier track, and its your chance to post your times on the board.
PILOT REQUIREMENTS & USEFUL INFO
- If you are new to the club, please read our Read the Pilot Safety Briefing
- RPAS basic is must.
- Active MAAC membership is required. We will not allow pilots with expired MAAC to fly.
-All pilot's aircrafts need to pass tech inspection before they can be used to race.
- Please make sure you register your drone(s) with Transport Canada and label each drone as recommended by MAAC.
- Power will not be provided. Be ready to self-service.
- Bring your own chairs, tables and canopy tents.
- Freestyle will not be tolerated! This is a controlled flying environment.
AIRCRAFT REQUIREMENTS
All aircrafts will be inspected by an event organizer, looking to verify weight, VTX output power and failsafe:
- Any LiPo sizes
- Any propellers sizes.
- 25mW VTX power max. To be tested during tech inspection.
- Failsafe properly configured. To be tested during tech inspection (propellers off please).
- Need to be capable of switching channels easily!
- DJI HD and Fatshark Shark Byte/HDZero are accepted.
