Join Sauk Valley Under 40 for an insightful panel discussion focused on Workplace Wellbeing. Designed for young professionals under 40, this event brings together experts from human resources and mental health fields to explore the challenges and opportunities of maintaining balance at work. Various topics will be discussed including navigating mental health in the workplace, recognizing and preventing burnout, understanding company culture, and knowing when it’s time to make a change.
Whether you're early in your career or navigating a new chapter, this is a chance to gain real-world advice, ask questions, and connect with others who are facing similar workplace experiences.
The panel consists of Brent Reuter, former HR professional and current Dixon Township Supervisor, who brings extensive experience in management, mental health advocacy, and community engagement, and was recently recognized with the Sauk Valley Chamber Champion and Discover Dixon 4 Under 40 awards; Sarah Cleary, Service Excellence Coordinator at Sauk Valley Bank, who draws on over a decade of supervisory experience and a background in health and wellness to lead staff development, foster a culture of service, and promote employee engagement both at the bank and through fitness instruction at the YMCA; and Mercedes Mancera, Behavioral Health Clinician at Sinnissippi Centers, a trauma-informed counselor whose work spans all ages and who brings a holistic, neurodiversity-aware, and community-rooted approach to wellness and mental health.
