Brightwater Matariki
Come together with friends and whānau for a magical evening under the stars as we celebrate Matariki — the Māori New Year — right here in Brightwater! ✨
Live Performances by: Brightwater School, Pinegrove Kindergarten and the Nelson Fire Club.

🚒 Our awesome local fire crew will be there with a fire truck for kids to explore

🔭 And if the skies are clear, the amazing team from Wai-iti Dark Sky will be bringing telescopes for night sky viewing

💫 Bring your drink bottle, some coins for a sausage, dress warm, and enjoy the night.
