Pottery classes for Adult complete beginners

Come and try something new... pottery! This course is for adults who would class themselves in the 'complete beginner' category. We will be learning the basics of hand building with clay, which means we just use our hands and tools, not the pottery wheel. We will cover skills such as pinch pots, creating with slabs, coiling, and a range of decorating skills.
You do not need to be 'a creative' to do pottery, everyone can give it a go.
The course runs on Wednesday nights for 6 weeks, 6.30pm until 8.30pm starting Wed 16th July. $300 includes all your clay/glaze/firing costs.

You will learn in a small group setting, tea/coffee (and sometimes wine!) are provided, in the cozy studio inside Founders Park; Kōwhai Art Studio.
