A Printmaking Journey: From Block to Print with Sue Thorp

A printmaking exploration of woodcuts and direct printing. Participants will create a woodcut, learning techniques for carving lines and textures before printing their images.

A variety of coloured printing inks will be available, along with a selection of materials for direct printing, which will be provided in the class. The day will begin with a demonstration.

Please bring an apron or wear old shirts, scissors, drawing pencils, drawing pad or paper, eraser and ruler and your own lunch.

This workshop is for ages 16 and above.
