About the event

Decorative Platter Course

This course is aimed at the intermediate turner that has completed the basic course and preferrably also the Bowl Turning Course or has an understanding and experience with turning tools. The main aspects covered are:

- The first part will cover the turning of a wide rimmed platter which will be used as a basis for the decorative work.

- A variety of decorative techniques will be shown which the students can use as a basis for their own work.

- This will include Pryography,
Airbrushing, Carving and texturning
