The Tennessee Agricultural Museum is partnering with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and The Nature Conservancy for this FREE "pop-up" workshop style event held on June 25, 2025 at the Ellington Agricultural Center.
During this hands-on workshop, participants will learn from guest speaker, and Tennessee Nature Conservancy's bat expert, Cory Holliday, about the importance of bat shelters, how to build a bat house, and where to install them outdoors to help bats survive and thrive in Tennessee. All building materials will be provided courtesy of The Nature Conservancy.
One reservation for this free program = admission for 1 adult +1 child. This program is best suited for ages 7+ (adult supervision is required). One bat house per reservation/family. Space is limited and reservations are required. If reservations are full, please consider the morning workshop at 10 a.m. or please join our waiting list in the event that space becomes available.
