Learn to Roller Derby: 2. Contact and Hitting

Learn to Play or Ref Roller Derby week 2!

We will spend the first half practicing our awesome skate skills (continue improving for players, refs and casual skaters!) then into reffing or playing skills.

This week we'll be learning how to safely lean into other skaters and more vigorously into crash pads for extra fun! - Mouthguards are required this week! (checkout Sisu mouthguard from Seaside skates, or rebel sports)

What to bring:
Roller skates if you have them - Loan skates available, sizes limited
Mouthguard
Knee and elbow pads, wrist gaurds and helmet - Loan gear available
Water Bottle!
Socks.
Comfortable clothing to move in. We recommend workout clothing with a warm sweatshirt you can take off as we warm up.
Cash for payment.

Payment is by cash or bank transfer:
$10 / Class or get a week free when you pay for the full 6 week Learn to Skate ($50).
