We’re thrilled to introduce River Sounds—a fresh weekly event series designed to elevate the Riverwalk experience through live music and community vibes.
Mark your calendar for Tuesday evenings: July 15, 22, and 29. Each week, River Sounds will bring a two-part music journey to the riverfront:
6:30–8:15pm: Ease into the evening at Jaycees WiFi Park (just west of the corner of Water Street and Webster), where a local singer-songwriter, jazz quartet, or cultural musicians will create a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. Expect acoustic, pop, folk, and global sounds as the backdrop to a summer evening by the water.
8:15–9:30pm: As dusk settles in, the music drifts to the water. From a boat secured in the river, artists—ranging from opera singers and cellists to cultural instrumentalists—will perform completely acoustic sets. No tracks, no microphones—just the natural sound of music floating across the water.
It’s music, community, and the magic of the river—come float with us.
More on River Sounds :) …
It’s not your typical concert. River Sounds is a two-part music series in the heart of Downtown Naperville, designed to add something unexpected to your evening.
It starts at Jaycees Wi-Fi Park with softly amplified acoustic, jazz, or culturally inspired sets—meant to enhance the atmosphere, not overpower it.
Then, as twilight settles in, a solo musician performs from a small boat on the river—completely unamplified. Sometimes it’s subtle, sometimes it soars (yes, even opera), but always it’s meant to catch you by surprise.
Come for the moment. Stay for the music.
