larinetist Catherine Hudgins has performed internationally across six continents and appears regularly with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. She holds principal positions with the Plymouth Philharmonic and Portland Symphony, and has played under renowned conductors at major festivals like Saito Kinen and Spoleto. A frequent performer with her husband, BSO principal clarinetist William Hudgins, she has premiered works such as Daniel Crozier’s Spirit and appeared with the Knoxville Symphony and Boston Classical Orchestra. Catherine is also Artistic Director of the West Stockbridge Chamber Players and an active chamber musician with performances broadcast on NPR and internationally. She studied with Robert Marcellus and resides in Boston.
