La Severa Matacera @The Terminal Bar (Nanaimo)

Nanaimo Reggae Massive proudly presents the return of Bogota, Colombia's La Severa Matacera. They first performed in Nanaimo at The Queen's back in 2009 and after all these years they are still going strong! La Severa Matacera is a band anchored in the ska scene however their sound infuses elements of reggae, funk and rock as well as some Colombian rhythms. La Severa Matacera is in Canada for the Victoria Ska and Reggae Festival but with fonds memories in Nanaimo decided to add an additional show up island.
