Welcome back to Western Edge's Annual General Auditions for their upcoming 2025-2026 Season.
Exciting News is this year we will be doing 4 shows in our Mainstage Season! Two of which need casts of 5 actors.
This season's theme will surround men's mental health and the support theatre and art can provide to this discourse.
Auditions will be Friday August 15th in the evening and all day August 16th with Callbacks held on August 17th during the day/evening.
An Offcial Season Announcement is coming soon, but know that the two plays we are seeking roles for are;
1. Local playwright Ward Norcutt's heartfelt and moving drama -Baker's Dozen (5 cast, 3 men 2 women). Running End of November 2025 (Rehearsals starting Late August/Early Sept)
And
Morris Panych's renowned modern dark comedy - 7 Stories. (5 Cast 3 men, 2 women). Running Mid June 2026 (Rehearsals starting Late Feb/Early March).
Both plays will be directed by Artistic Director Jonathan Greenway and be moving pieces saddling the corners of the 2025-2026 season. The two middle shows are just as exciting and to be announced soon!
Western Edge is also actively seeking designers, carpenters, painters, Stage Managers and other theatrical artists of all experinece levels and interests. Please don't hesitate to also reach out. As well, we would love more volunteers to join our team!
