Children's Summer Playgroup is here! Join for a morning of drop-in play at My Inner Harbour from 9am-12pm with Luisa, our children's playgroup facilitator. There will be both free play and more structured activities and indoor and outdoor time. Activities will include: arts & crafts, stories, bubbles, chalk, music and much more!
Parents are expected to stay with their children. However, parents will have the opportunity to sign up for personal self-care time in 30 minute increments while their child is supervised by the facilitator.
Playgroup Ages:
Since a lot of summer programming is available for kids ages 6 and up, playgroup is generally aimed at children ages 0-5 years old. However, older siblings up to age 9 are welcome to come and play, too! We have a range of age-appropriate toys, books, arts and crafts supplies and games.
Playgroup Price:
Playgroup is free for members of My Inner Harbour. Non-members may drop-in for $10 per session. If possible, please register ahead of time for the sessions. However, drop-ins on the day of are welcome provided there is enough space - 12 children maximum at a time.
Do I have to come for the whole time?
No! Please feel free to come for however long suits you and your child(ren). As long as we have space you're welcome for all three hours or 15 minutes.
What is My Inner Harbour?
My Inner Harbour is a membership-based community self-care centre. Inside are 4 rooms to focus on different areas of self-care: Body, Mind, Spirit & Community, with materials and prompts provided.
Is there parking?
Yes! We have about 5 parking spots at the back of our building off of Richards St which you are welcome to use. There is also free street parking around the neighbourhood.
