The parade will take place on Saturday 24th and we strongly recomend you to find accomondation in Aalborg city from Friday to Saturday since most trains from Southern part of Jylland can't be in Aalborg early in the morning.
LF Sydjylland will cover bus and train tickets for members of Lf Sydjylland but since it is one of the most popular events in Northern Jylland its important to buy ahead to even get tickets. LF Sydjylland will make sure that there are some snacks, soft drinks and light food for the parade. Send an email to

Information about Aalborg Karneval:
The association Aalborg Karneval has held a carnival in Aalborg Center every year in May since 1983. It is today Northern Europe's largest carnival with close to a hundred thousand participants divided between the association's three main events: International Parade and Children's Carnival.

We will meet close to the bride to Nørresundby by the toilets and the time will be planned when the rute is official and join the parade from there.
IF you have any questions or friends who wanna join. Please feel free to invite them as well. The more the better. I will buy some water and snacks so please let me know before wednesday 21 if you wanna go so I can create a group and we can find each other on the day.
The meeting place will be Limfjordsbroen on the Aalborg site at 10.15 since the parade will start at 10. I will post a picture inside the WhatsApp group like previous years
