Sunrise Walk with the Docs

We’d love for you to join us for a Community Sunrise Beach Walk as we gather together to move our bodies, connect with each other, and soak in the beauty of creation.
In our Genesis Prescription program, we dedicate a whole week to discussing light and how it impacts our health. Here are just a few nuggets we discuss about sunrise light.
🌞 Why Sunrise? There’s more than just beauty in a sunrise — there are real health benefits too:
• Natural light in the morning helps balance your circadian rhythm (hello, better sleep!)
• Walking boosts heart health, improves mood, and gets your metabolism going
• Light is required to signal hormone production (pregnenolone, DHEA, progesterone, estrogen, testosterone, and cortisol)
• The quiet of dawn is perfect for prayer, reflection, or a simple fresh start
We will be meeting at the free parking at Nash Street and walking to the public beach access together!
