Corn Weaving Class

Weaving class by Jim Anspach of "Homestead Weaving" in Myerstown.

Basket weaving, including the use of natural materials like gourds, is one of the oldest known crafts, with evidence suggesting its use for food gathering, storage, and transportation of goods.

This is a beginner friendly course.
The corn is made from colorful flat reed weaving one at a time at your own pace. It doesn't take too long to weave ending with some raffia tied at the top.
This will make a nice door or table decoration for the fall.

Bring a craft apron, an old towel and a chair.
