Youth bowlers will be competing for scholarship prizes.
Prizes will come from entry fees, donations and various fundraisers associated
with this tournament.
BASED ON A MAXIMUM OF 54 ENTRIES
1 ST $300, 2 ND $200, 3 rd & 4 TH $100,
5 TH – 8 TH $75, 9 th – 16 TH $50.
RULES:
Qualifying will be 5 games across 10 lanes.
Tournament is sanctioned by USBC.
Teams will consist of one Adult and one Youth. All bowlers must be sanctioned by USBC for the current
season.
Handicap will be 90% of the difference between the team average and 440. Adults use highest average
of 2024-25 season, min. of 21 games. If no average in 2024-25 season, then use highest current
average of 11/01/25, min. of 21 games. All others use 220. Youth use highest current average as of
11/01/25, min. of 21 games. (Tournament director may use USBC Composite Average if applicable)
Entry fee will be $40 per team with $20 for linage and $20 for prizes.
Checks payable to “Bill Allen Memorial Scholarship Tournament”
After 5 games, the field will be cut to the top 16 teams for bracket match play with #1 against #16, #2
against #15 and so forth, bowling one game matches with handicap until 1 team remains.
Scholarships will be awarded to the top 16 teams.
No tobacco or alcohol may be used during competition. No smoking breaks between games will be
allowed. Violation of this may be cause for disqualification.
Bad conduct will not be tolerated. Violation may be cause for disqualification.
