Sunday 20th July 2025 is Worldwide Rollout Day™ and Gold Coast Rollout is hosting this free community roller skate in Murwillumbah for the Gold Coast & Northern Rivers area 😎. People across the world in all major cities will be skating together with us on this day, in the spirit of One Love without borders or prejudice. Join experts in jam/rhythm dance skating & slalom trick skating. There'll also be games for kids on skates!👴🏽👩🏻🦳👶🏿👨🏻🦰🧔🏽

ABOUT WWRD: Founded at the peak of BLM & COVID-19 in Atlanta USA; WORLDWIDE ROLLOUT DAY™ was an inspiration behind the formation of Gold Coast Rollout, and is a call to action for rollers everywhere to build community cooperation & rollout together. It has special significance here in Australia, as that Sunday is just a week after NAIDOC week. This rollout will therefore acknowledge & celebrate our First Nations people, flying our indigenous peoples flags and playing indigenous music artists.

Murwillumbah Rollout is collaborating with the Gold Coast Rollout Facebook group, which has thousands of members & followers from Byron to Brisbane, that roller skate/blade for fun or professionally, across all skate disciplines (dance/jam/rhythm skating, roller derby, figure skating, speed skating, trick/slalom, aggressive skating, etc). We share tips & arrange skate meet-ups including our main community skate in a different GC location each Sunday & Monday...Our admins include top skaters across disciplines in a voluntary community spirit promoting skating; doing it so we practice & learn together for free & for fun.
