This July, Elizabeth Quay transforms into a winter fairyland for Cosy @ the Quay – a free three-day celebration that brings the rich cultural warmth of Europe’s iconic winter festivals to Perth.
At the heart of it all is the Winter Dome – a glowing, heated escape where you can curl up on cosy furniture with a hot chocolate in hand and enjoy live piano accordionists and folk singers. By day, it’s the perfect spot for families to hang out, relax, enjoy a bite to eat while the kids have fun at the Euro Disco. As night falls, the Winter Dome lights up with Euro Nights – high-energy DJ sets that keep the good vibes going late into the evening.
Rug up and feel the crisp air on your face as you take in the timeless sounds of an outdoor opera concert, watch Viennese dancers swirl under glittering lights and gather around crackling fire pits for poetry performances and marshmallow toasting.
Step into the rhythm of European dance under the open night sky with free folk dancing lessons across the Quay. All ages and skill levels are welcome to join in.
There’ll be plenty to eat and drink – from European-inspired comfort food including Polish-style toasted sandwiches and wood fired pizza to toasty treats and drinks that warm your hands.

Each day on the hour from 1pm - 9pm, there will be real snow to dance in!

Saturday & Sunday from 2.00 to 3.00pm with the Edelweiss Dance Group and their cowbells!
💃VIENNESE WALTZING
Award-winning champion dancers (that you might recognise from Dancing With the Stars) waltzing under the twinkling lights of the promenade from 4.15pm, 5.15pm and 6.15pm.
🍢MARSHMALLOW TOASTING
Marshmallows and sticks will be provided free of charge, running 3.00pm to 6.00pm each day.

Next to the fire at 3.00pm daily.

From 6.30pm daily with professional ballroom dancers.
