The use and widespread adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has opened a lot of opportunities for individuals and organizations. It is believed to be one of the main economic drivers of the 21st century. However, it is also expected to pose unique challenges, societal concerns and ethical conundrums.
The International Standardization Organization recently released ISO / IEC 42001 – the world’s first AI management system standard – to provide structure, order and valuable guidance for the effective use of this game-changing technology.
This two-session training will feature the world-class ISO framework to help organizations responsibly perform their role with respect to AI systems (e.g. to use, develop, monitor or provide products or services that utilize AI). For organizations, it sets out a structured way to manage risks and opportunities associated with AI, balancing innovation with governance.
Adopting and implementing the global standard means putting in place policies and procedures for the sound governance of an organization in relation to AI.
