This electric performance brings together mridangam artists Viveick Rajagopalan and Anantha R. Krishnan with jazz pianist Harmeet Manseta, reimagining the role of traditional percussion in a contemporary soundscape. Blending Carnatic rhythm cycles with jazz harmony, electronic textures, and live improvisation, the trio creates a musical experience where heritage meets forward-thinking sound design.
 
Anantha, trained under mridangam maestro Vidwan Shri Palghat R. Raghu and tabla legend Ustad Zakir Hussain, bridges classical rigour with a deep interest in electronic music. Viveick, known for his work with the Ta Dhom Project and international collaborations, brings a producer’s sensibility and rhythmic innovation. Harmeet adds harmonic richness through his background in jazz improvisation, developed over a decade of cross-genre performance.
 
Together, they shape a performance that is dynamic, immersive, and deeply rooted—an exploration of tradition that speaks fluently in the language of the present.
