Fusing Indian classical traditions with the energy of rock, jazz, and world music, this performance by versatile guitarist and composer Ravi Iyer offers a sound that is both rooted and contemporary. Drawing from Hindustani and Carnatic styles, complex rhythms, and free-flowing improvisation, the set creates a vibrant musical experience that bridges tradition and modern expression.
 
A seasoned artist, Ravi Iyer’s work spans over three decades and includes five albums, multiple singles, commercial projects, and an extensive career as a music educator. His sound reflects the influence of classic rock icons like Deep Purple and Pink Floyd, alongside world fusion pioneers such as Shakti and L. Subramaniam.
 
He is joined by tabla player and percussionist Rupak Dhamankar, bassist and multi-instrumentalist Madhur Padwal, and mridangam maestro Krishnan Narayanan—each bringing a distinct musical heritage and rhythmic voice to the ensemble. Together, they create music that is dynamic, textured, and constantly evolving—offering audiences an evening where diverse traditions meet and new sonic landscapes take shape.
