With Love Poetry is bringing you its very first poetry workshop, The Bakwaas Workshop by Anamika Joshi. This will be an immersive and conversational session on relatable spoken word poetry and it intends to create a homely safe space for you to be vulnerable and share your thoughts.

About Anamika Joshi:

Anamika Joshi, also known as Batto and for her pleasant 'bakwaas', is a scriptwriter, poet, a storyteller and a magical spoken word performer, who with her words, takes you on a journey you didn't know you needed.

What to expect from the workshop:

- Learn how to listen deeply, observe keenly, and write honestly.
- Explore the stories and emotions behind poems—what sparks a piece into existence.
- Understand how raw emotion becomes powerful poetry.
- Discover what makes writing relatable and impactful—through the lens of simplicity, clarity, and perspective.
- Participate in collaborative writing exercises and learn how to self-edit with empathy.
- Sharpen your stage presence by observing and enhancing performance elements like voice, pause, and expression.
