Ratnakar Matkari is not just a name but a force in Marathi literature, theatre, and cinema. At a time when popular writing leaned toward the amorous and the escapist, Matkari carved out a distinct space with his masterful mystery stories that gripped the imagination of generations.

A true polymath, writer, playwright, director, producer, and painter, Matkari enriched every medium he touched. He was also a pioneer of children's theatre in Maharashtra, dedicating over three decades to creating meaningful, thought-provoking plays for young audiences.

In a heartfelt tribute to his enduring legacy, Badam Raja Productions presents “Sshhhhh Ghabraycha Nahi". Directed by Vijay Kenkre, it features Pushkar Shrotri, Dr. Shwetta Pendse and Girish Oak, who come together to revisit the mind of a genius.

"Sshhhhh.... Ghabraycha Nahi" brings alive two of Matkari's iconic stories, Pavasatla Pahuna and Jevanawal, through dramatic recitations that promise to stir memory, emotion, and admiration for the man who reshaped Marathi storytelling.
