Let the Inspire India Project spark your child’s love for music through a joyful, hands-on workshop where they will sing, clap, and create together!

Led by children, for children, this 90-minute musical workshop introduces young participants to the magic of melody and rhythm in an engaging and interactive format. Presented by students of the Inspire India Project – an initiative by the Shankar Mahadevan Academy Trust – this session explores two foundational elements of Indian music: Sargam (singing musical notes) and Konnakol (speaking rhythmic syllables).

Through singing, clapping, moving to beats, and collaborating in small groups, children will create a short musical composition and perform it together by the end of the session. No prior musical training is needed, just curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to participate.

Perfect for kids aged 8 and above, this beginner-friendly workshop uses simple Hindi and English to make learning music easy, inclusive, and fun.
