How do we make sense of who we are in a world shaped by screens and social performance? This evening of contemporary dance by the Nritya Shakti Ensemble explores the shifting contours of identity, tracing how technology and societal expectations shape the ways we connect, express, and remember.

Curated under the creative direction of Shakti Mohan, the performance features an original piece by Pratik Surve – ‘Bachpan 55’ – showcasing a distinct movement vocabulary and emotional lens. Pratik reflects on a childhood reframed by mobile screens and digital saturation. Through ensemble-driven choreography, a group of friends finds itself trapped in a hyperconnected world – until the pull of memory leads them back to a simpler, more grounded past.
