Sign up your restless one for a jazz 101 workshop designed to be a fun experience for kids! Crackling with energy, the session by talented multi-genre dancer Veronica P. Jose teaches the basics of jazz dance, while encouraging kids to express themselves freely. Learning a new art form with others also opens them up to the beauty of creative collaboration. Kicking off with a hearty warm-up session, the program can be broadly divided into stretching, elementary jazz moves, rhythm exercises, footwork, arm movement, additional jazz techniques & skills, group formation, choreography creation, practice, performance, and a post-cooldown reflection. By the end of their journey, participants would have learnt new dance skills, created their own routines, gained confidence of movement and mind, and experienced the joy of performing with and for their peers.
