Have you heard about the parenting program that has the potential to change the world? Read my article here:
https://hercanberra.com.au/life/family/meet-the-parenting-program-that-could-change-your-world/
The Circle of Security® Parenting program is based on 50 years of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened, and how this type of early intervention can affect outcomes for the child across their lifespan.
The principles help you set the foundations for healthy, emotionally open relationships that apply across your child’s whole life. This has a significant impact on a child’s mental health later in life, increases their ability to regulate their emotions and has the potential to influence the relationship your children have with their own children.
Nurturing Women Psychology runs the 8 week circle of security parenting program (in seven weekly sessions) multiple times a year, with a minimum of 6 parents registered to attend. Places are limited to 10 parents, and a commitment to attend all seven sessions is required to register (make up sessions may be possible if you miss 1-2 sessions, at an additional cost).
Fees
- Fees to attend are $60 per adult person per weekly session
- Out of pocket costs may be reduced to $15 per weekly session If you have a GP Mental Health Care Plan Medicare. Contact me for more information.
Childcare
- I recommend attending this session without your child so you have adequate space to reflect on the course content. However, If required, I may be able to offer a child-minding option at an additional cost.
