There are Seven Major Chakras, the main energy centres in your body which run down the spine. Chakra means “wheel” are thought to be a spinning ball like energy that have a corresponding number, name, color, specific area of the spine from the sacrum to the crown of the head.
Yoga is a wonderful tool to help keep us in alignment and every asana/ yoga pose will be associated to one or more of the Chakras.
This is a chance for you to relax and to give yourself some much needed time to release tension and to bring yourself into a calm state of mind. It is in this state of mind that you can do your best healing. The duration of the monthly workshops will consist of a monthly theme, teaching, gentle flow/restorative yoga and guided meditation and relaxation, just think 2 HOURS FOR BLISS!

~ Please ensure you wear something comfortable and suitable for yoga and meditation
~ Yoga mat and cushion
~ Light blanket or throw for meditation
~ Water bottle advised
Bolsters for use but ask if you please bring a towel or wrap to place over, thank you.
