Please join us as we gather to celebrate the life, love, and unforgettable tunes of the one and only “Bobby,” or as his family likes to call him, Dalton (because who doesn’t need a secret identity). Bobby was gifted in nearly every way possible: he was compassionate, had a creative soul, and was a genuine friend to everyone he met. He had a special way of making everyone feel like they belonged. He was a loving brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, and cousin, a deep conversationalist who was passionate about his beliefs, a talented musician, and above all, a loving son who made his father and me extremely proud.
Those who knew Bobby will remember his laughter echoing through a room, his favorite songs playing late into the night (bringing out those unforgettable dance moves), and his warmth...the kind that stayed with you long after the moment had passed. He was genuine, loyal, and full of life. In every sense, Bobby was a gift!
Although his absence leaves a giant hole in our hearts and lives, his spirit continues to inspire us every day. So let’s raise a glass, share some laughs, and keep his memory alive because as long as we have stories to tell, Bobby will never truly be gone!
So today, we don’t gather in silence; we gather in celebration to share those stories. The celebration will be in true Barnes fashion, featuring smoked pork loin, texas taters, and cowboy baked beans. Don’t wait too late, when it’s gone, it’s gone!
