🚂 Follow the path of the Genesee Valley Canal—without getting your shoes muddy!
On Saturday, October 4th at 2 PM, NYS Parks educator Conrad Baker will take us on a unique journey through Mount Morris’ history, geology, industry, and the life of our town’s namesake, General William Mills.
Using rare, never-before-seen photos and maps, Conrad will:
Trace the route of the Genesee Valley Canal through downtown Mt. Morris
Show how it gave way to railroads and eventually the Genesee Valley Greenway
Tie it all back to Mills Mansion and the land beneath your feet
💡 This is one part photo tour, one part history walk, one part love letter to Mount Morris.
