Fireworks Paddle

Join us for a paddle on Mt Sterling Lake AND a fireworks show!

The fireworks are launched from the boat ramp, so we will meet at the east end of the lake and launch from there. (See map that will be posted in the discussion.) If you want to have supper together, just bring a dish/food to share. Nothing fancy. Sunset is at 8:35pm that night, so fireworks probably won't start till around 9pm.

Since we will be on the water after dark, according to the Handbook of Illinois Boating Laws and Responsibilities, each kayak should have on hand at least one lantern or flashlight shining a white light.

There will be food and entertainment at the lake all day too!
