Carol Zahn’s “Chasing the Light” Gallery Show

Art Reach of Mid Michigan is hosting Carol Zahn’s Gallery Show “Chasing the Light” June 4-30, 2025, in The Morey Family Gallery at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in downtown Mt. Pleasant.

Carol Zahn is an American artist best known for her colorful paintings of landscapes. Carol grew up creating in school and private lessons and the Toledo Art Museum classes. Art became her lifelong passion. She works in her home studio in Michigan, and in the field plein air painting Carol gathers reference material for her work during walks in her neighborhood, longer hikes and travel. Carol paints in both acrylic and oil, she is inspired by light and shadow that fall on her subjects. Carol exhibits in both solo and group shows. She was recently juried into “50 Artists of the Great Lakes Bay Region” competition for the second year in a row with a piece in the semi-permanent (2 years) exhibit along the riverwalk in Bay City, MI., and a piece in The Michigan Fine arts Competition at the Birmingham Bloomfield Arts Center.

An artist reception will be held from 5-6:30 pm, Thursday, June 12 in The Morey Family Gallery at Art Reach. All exhibits and receptions are free and open to the public.
