Devilbend Reservoir Circuit - Catholic Walking Club of Victoria

Join us for a peaceful 14 km ramble around Devilbend Reservoir, the largest inland water body on the Mornington Peninsula. Enjoy lowland forest, tranquil lake views, and be on the lookout for the local bird life including the threatened Blue-billed Duck and the White-bellied Sea Eagle.

This is a good walk for a range of people from beginners to experienced walkers who would like to try out a club experience. While it is 14 km it will be at a modest pace on well defined tracks with very little in the way of hills. Moderate fitness will be required. Based on the Australian Walking Track Grading System this walk is a Grade 3 - "Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Tracks may have short steep sections, a rough surface and many steps. Walks up to 20km".

ABOUT OUR CLUB: The Catholic Walking Club of Victoria (CWCV) was founded in 1951 and has for its objectives the encouragement of bushwalking and allied activities in a catholic atmosphere and the fostering of a greater love of the outdoors. Membership is open to anyone eighteen years and over and actively interested in bushwalking. The Club promotes day, weekend and extended bushwalking, ski touring and cycling trips as well as social activities.
