The Need For Mentors with Lisa Miller

Children across Lakeland and beyond are waiting—not just for help, but for hope. Join us as we welcome Lisa Miller, a dynamic advocate for youth and longtime Kiwanian, to share the urgent need for mentors and how we can all play a role in igniting the power and promise of young people.

Lisa currently serves as Community Partnership Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Polk County, where she connects organizations and volunteers to create life-changing, one-on-one relationships for local youth. She also serves on the Polk County School Board and brings over 20 years of experience advocating for children with disabilities and building strong community partnerships.

A proud Polk County native, Lisa holds degrees from the University of South Florida and Barry University, and serves on the board of Polk Vision. She’s a graduate of Leadership Polk and Leadership Florida, and a devoted wife and mother.
