Join us Sunday, August 24th at the historic Bay Theatre for an evening of surf and earth inspired films.
We'll be featuring multiple award winning film The Road to Patagonia, an inspiring story of surf, adventure, and love—the love of two people, of humanity, and for the earth. The Road to Patagonia won the Best Film and Best Documentary at the Byron Bay International Film Festival, the Audience Choice awards at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival and Florida Surf Film Festival, and the Jury awards at the Maui Film Festival and Surf Film Festival. It was also named "Australian Film of the Year" by The Movie Guys.
We're also showcasing Para Siempre Coco, a short 8mm surf and travel film documented and scored by local surfers Sequioa Wade-Dunleavy and Scott Smith.
And we're showing Morro Bay High School Film Festival winner Trashman by Eli Waldman and Thomas Standridge, an ecological short story about trash filmed on the Central Coast.
We'll have local wine, beer, and cider + slices from Pizza Port to purchase at the event—and a chance to win 2 nights at Treebones Resort + 1 dinner at the Lodge Restaurant in Big Sur, CA.
The proceeds will go towards serving our most vulnerable neighbors.
Bring your family and friends—and please help us spread the news to the Estero Bay community.
We can't wait to see you there!
