80th ANNIVERSARY VJ DAY COMMEMORATION AMBLE

A ceremony will be held at Amble War Memorial to commemorate all who served in the Far East during WW2 and with emphasis on Y Company (Amble) of the 9th Battalion the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers who were captured at Singapore in February 1942. Refreshments at Amble Coquet Club afterwards
