Join exhibiting artist Joshua Searle in conversation with MPRG Acting Curator Rebecca Owens as they explore the themes behind Joshua Searle: Bienvenido, currently on display at MPRG.

This conversation offers a chance to hear firsthand about Joshua’s creative journey, his distinctive visual language, and the stories that have shaped his practice. Together, Joshua and Rebecca will explore the ideas, inspirations and processes that underpin his work, revealing insights into the making of the exhibition and the broader cultural contexts it touches on.

Join us for drinks & nibbles in the foyer from 5.30pm, prior to the conversation taking place from 6-7pm in the exhibition setting.

Bienvenido is the first solo exhibition by Mornington Peninsula-based emerging artist Joshua Searle (b. 1998, Australian/Colombian) to be held in a major public gallery.
